General Policies
Margie Holds Court (MHC) accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal.
Should you need to cancel your order, you must contact us prior to shipment. You will receive a refund for the entire amount. If you need to cancel and your order has shipped, all return policy guidelines will apply.
Margie Holds Court has gift certificates available for textbooks and classes. Please contact Support for more information.
General Policies | Teachable Classes
IN-PERSON CLASS: If you need CEUs, there is an option to make up one or more missed classes depending upon the length of the class. See the class description for details.
RECORDED/REPLAY CLASS: Registration for a recorded class is good for 90 days. If you need CEUs, you must pass the accompanying quizzes. If you do not pass the quiz on the first try, you may try again after 48 hours (and presumably further study). A maximum of two tries is allowed.
Refunds & Returns
Once an order has shipped, except in the case of a damaged book, there are no refunds on books.
Once you have paid for an online class, refunds are not normally given. If there are extenuating circumstances and you are unable to take a class you have registered for, you may be offered the opportunity to apply that amount to a later class or to a recorded webinar if you make contact regarding the problem no later than five days before the class begins.
Once you have paid for a recorded webinar, refunds are not normally given. Please contact support to discuss extenuating circumstances.
Once a class has started or a recorded class has been accessed, no refunds will be issued.
Any book that arrives to you in a damaged condition will be replaced free of any charges under the following conditions:
Margie Holds Court must be notified in writing of the damage and the nature of the damage within 15 days of the shipping date. Including a picture of the damaged book and the box is highly recommended. Margie Holds Court will respond to that notification via email and must then receive the damaged book within 15 days of the response.
Once the damaged book is received, a replacement will be shipped.
Except in the case of a damaged shipment, which will be replaced, there are no refunds.

Shipping & Handling
All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service.
We process all orders from our location in California. Once payment has cleared, orders generally ship within 24 to 48 hours.
Should you wish to cancel your order, you must contact the MHC operations manager via Support prior to the time the order is shipped. You will receive a full refund. (Please do not email Margie directly as that potentially will delay the process and result in shipment of the order.)
If you wish to cancel and the order has been shipped, see the return policy guidelines.
Any book that arrives to you in a damaged condition will be replaced free of charge according to these guidelines:
